Born on 2 September 1988 in chandigarh ,schooled from gurgaon Haryana and a Bachelor in Computer Application from Panjab University .
She was trained in IT companies like SQL,Oracle and J2ME.Then met her husband Mr Varun Alagh ,married and went to phillipines, had a child and then the child suffered from skin disorders, that gave her an insight into baby care products.
In Phillipines, she got herself turned into not just an IT professional, but to have a genre in arts and then to be a enterprener. With the markets flooded with brands to cope with needs of several, she herself suffered with the need of toxin free products for her child due to skin disorders.
Here this gave her a vision to create toxin free baby care products with international standards. With this the husband wife duo cofounded the HONASA consumer, parent company of brand MAMAEARTH .
This is the largest digital FIRST BPC company in India, it has a strong commitment towards people and nature.It caters to the diverse needs all around the globe not just in baby products but also in beauty and personal care brands.
Today its portfolio of brands comprises of MAMAEARTH, THE DERMA Co, Aqualogica, BBlunt and Dr Sheth’s. She appeared on Shark Tank India and is also listed as Forbes most powerful woman in business and her brand is labelled as Asia’s FIRST MADE SAFE certified brand.
Ghazal Alagh journey is not just a person success story, it is a testament to what women can achieve, when she changed the Indian landscapeby introducing different babycare products to makeup products, not just beauty but catering to the demands of various consumers all aroung the globe.
